HDMR
Hawks Double Mountain Ranch
HDMR is a 25,000 acre ranch in west Texas near the small town of Rotan. With 2 rivers running through the ranch, it lends itself to some very rugged and deep canyons made of red west Texas rock and dirt. HDMR holds deer and hogs, as well as a variety of exotics. Aoudad and Scimitar Horned Oryx are abundant, and they also have Red Stag, Gemsbok, and Bison. The accommodations at HDMR are top notch and can host large groups. MOGA is an outfitter and guides voice for all issues we face and have to work through. They fight for our lively hoods and strive to make the outfitting industry strong in Montana. 16 Mile Outtfitting gives $50 per hunting client to MOGA's Hunting and Fishing Defense Fund.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is the governing body over all things wildlife. See all the current regulations and licensing rules on the FWP website. Purchasing licenses and applying for licenses is also done on the FWP website. They now have a MyFWP App that allows you to have electronic tags that can be validated in the field when a harvest is made.
